Administrative Assistant / Licensed Strata Manager

HOMETIME Realty & Property Management is seeking a motivated and professional Administrative Assistant or Licensed Strata Manager to join our team in Penticton, BC.

This is a full-time, in-office position with opportunities to work closely with a supportive team in a fast-paced property management environment.

Qualifications

The successful applicant will:

Live in Penticton or the immediate surrounding area.
Have a valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to attend meetings and occasionally pick up or deliver documents or supplies.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be fluent in written and spoken English.
Have a minimum of one year of full-time office administration experience.
Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
Be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
Be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Be able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Be dependable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service.
If a Strata Manager, a BC Strata Manager's License

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Preparing, formatting, and proofreading letters, meeting minutes, bylaws, notices, and other correspondence.
Creating, updating, and maintaining Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and other office documents.
Responding to and composing professional emails.
Answering and returning telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
Scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings.
Requesting and following up on contractor quotes.
Attending strata meetings and preparing meeting documentation.
Scanning, photocopying, filing, and maintaining office records.
Providing administrative support to other team members as required.
Delivering exceptional customer service to owners, council members, contractors, and the public.
If a Licensed Strata Manager, to be the main contact for a portfolio of clients.

Please Note

This is not a remote position. The successful candidate is required to work from our office.
Evening meetings are a regular part of this position.

Hours of Work

34.5 hours per week, plus additional paid hours for evening strata meetings.

Monday to Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Starting wage $20/hr (depending on experience)
Wage is different for a BC Licensed Strata Manager.
