We support major projects across the Lower Mainland and are expanding our wall systems division with experienced installers and team leads.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Demountable Wall Systems Installer – Team Lead with experience in architectural wall systems and commercial office installations.
You will lead field crews, install walls and systems furniture, coordinate onsite tasks, and represent our company professionally to designers, GCs, and corporate clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesDemountable / Architectural Walls
- Install and assemble modular wall systems:
DIRTT, Falkbuilt, Teknion Altos, Steelcase V.I.A., Opti, and similar systems
- Set tracks, frames, glass panels, doors, hardware, power/data raceways, and acoustical elements
- Read installation drawings, elevations, and shop drawings accurately
- Perform site measurements and verify layout alignment
- Use lasers, levels, and precision tools for accurate installations
- Troubleshoot field issues and coordinate solutions in real time
Team Lead Duties
- Lead and supervise crews of 2–6 installers
- Plan daily tasks, delegate roles, and monitor progress
- Communicate with project managers, designers, and clients
- Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained
- Complete daily reports, site photos, field notes, and deficiency logs
Office Furniture Installation
(If experienced — training available)
- Install systems workstations (Teknion, Steelcase, Global, etc.)
- Assemble private offices, tables, cabinets, seating, and accessories
- Support office moves, reconfigurations, and relocations
Requirements
- Experience installing DIRTT, Falkbuilt, Teknion Altos, Steelcase, or similar systems is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of layout, leveling, and modular wall alignment
- Ability to read drawings, elevations, and digital install manuals
- Skilled with hand and power tools (drill, impact, laser level, etc.)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Physically able to lift 50–75 lbs and work on ladders/lifts
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence; personal vehicle is an asset
- Must be reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and client-friendly
Assets (Not Required)
- Forklift certification
- Experience with glazing or demountable glass walls
- Installations at DIRTT / Falkbuilt / Teknion / Steelcase dealerships
- Experience with corporate office furniture installations
- Experience using iPad/iPhone for field reports
- Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends if required

Pay: $28.00-$37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
