As a Guest Services Agent, you play a key role in shaping each guest’s experience at Crown Isle Resort. Often the first and last point of contact, you set the tone through genuine hospitality, professionalism, and problem-solving. You’ll assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and inquiries, while working closely with a supportive team to ensure every stay is seamless and welcoming.
We aim to always be one step ahead of our guests’ needs, and we provide training and support to help you succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience & Front Desk
- Greet and thank guests in a friendly, professional, and sincere manner
- Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately
- Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with a calm, solutions-focused approach
- Anticipate guest needs and create positive, memorable experiences
Reservations, Sales & Resort Support
- Answer phones and assist with reservations
- Post charges accurately to guest accounts
- Sell gym memberships and special event tickets (e.g., Mother’s Day Brunch)
- Manage resort keys and access
- Create and deliver welcome amenities and room drops
- Book tee times when Golf Shop staff are unavailable
- Assist ¼ Shareowners with bookings and inquiries
Operations & Safety
- Perform basic troubleshooting (TV programming, Wi-Fi connectivity, etc.)
- Assist with emergency procedures when required
- Support the resort team with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- One to three months of related customer service or hospitality experience
- Valid BC driver’s license with a clean abstract
Assets:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, positive, and professional in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for hospitality and guest service
