This iconic Montreal hotel, with its 36 floors, 614 rooms, 13 suites, and 25 meeting rooms, was completely renovated in 2021 and can accommodate up to 1000 guests. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage Outlets and the Terrace Manager, the Food & Beverage Supervisor – Terrace is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the beautiful and iconic Belvu Terrace, located on the 3rd floor of the Marriott Château Champlain.
Overall, this role is responsible for ensuring service efficiency, managing staff, and maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise teams and oversee daily floor operations.
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction at all times.
- Handle guest complaints and service issues.
- Ensure compliance with service standards and procedures.
- Support employees through training and development.
- Assess and validate employee competencies.
- Ensure the availability of equipment and supplies.
- Provide operational support to the team.
- Actively participate in staff recruitment efforts.
- Participate in performance evaluations.
- Manage and coordinate daily restaurant operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure quality standards.
- Manage schedules and reservations.
- Make operational decisions as required.
- Remain visible and accessible to guests at all times.
- Actively participate in preventive maintenance initiatives.
- Address guest concerns and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with employee schedules.

- Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, day and/or evening shifts.
Languages: Bilingualism (French and English) in both spoken and written form is required for this position, as we serve an international clients.
