Role:

This is the level of continuous training. Under the supervision of more experienced technicians or members of technical staff/engineers, performs a variety of tasks related to established methods and processes. Works from written instructions or general guidelines on equipment and systems of basic complexity.

Responsibilities/Tasks:

Participate in the assembly or modification of Material Ground and Support Equipment based on specific directives.
Carry out various tasks, including installing, repairing, testing and maintaining MGSE-related equipment.
Read and interpret technical drawings.
Collaborate with engineers on MGSE design issues by researching and recommending parts or components.
Carry out work in accordance with internal procedures and in compliance with our occupational health and safety rules.
Support the testing, troubleshooting and alignment of equipment, sub-systems and systems.
May be required to calibrate and/or characterise various tooling components.
Perform other related tasks.

Minimum qualifications required:

College diploma or equivalent degree in mechanical, aeronautical engineering or related field, as assigned.
A combination of other relevant experience/education may be considered.
0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
Fluency in spoken and written French. Knowledge of English is an asset. (Contact with customers outside Québec, work on English-language).
Knowledge and experience relevant to the assignment.

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
