Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a positive and efficient experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency with office technology. Experience in medical or dental office settings is a plus, but not required. The Receptionist will handle various administrative tasks to support smooth daily operations and maintain a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and clients promptly, professionally, and courteously at the front desk
Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars using Dental Software (training will be provided)
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records, files, and documentation
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and mail
Assist with administrative duties such as filing, proofreading documents, and managing office supplies
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns efficiently and professionally
Maintain a clean and organized reception area to ensure a professional appearance

Qualifications

Proven clerical or administrative experience, preferably in an office or medical/dental setting
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry applications
Experience with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in typing and proofreading
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Prior experience in medical or dental offices is preferred but not required
