Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Teacher(Level 3) to join our educational team. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones, and fostering a love for learning. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, classroom experience, and a passion for early childhood education. Bilingual abilities, especially in English and French, as well as experience working with children with disabilities or in special education settings, are highly valued.

Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support student progress and well-being
Utilize computer skills for record-keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes
Manage classroom activities efficiently through excellent organizational skills and time management
Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or in special education programs
Lead classroom routines, activities, and transitions smoothly while maintaining discipline and positive behavior
Document children's progress through written observations and reports
Collaborate with team members to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) when necessary

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education is advantageous
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff
Computer operation skills for documentation and lesson planning purposes
Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently
Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to work collaboratively within a team
Writing skills necessary for progress reports and documentation
Ability to create an inclusive environment that respects diversity and individual needs

Pay: $17.32-$28.55 per hour
