We are a multidisciplinary building envelope contractor seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from planning through completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and quality standards while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of building envelope construction methods and the ability to coordinate effectively with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Preconstruction
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and owners to define project scope and requirements.
- Prepare budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
- Review construction drawings and specifications to identify risks and opportunities for value engineering.
Execution & Construction Oversight
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and construction crews, ensuring adherence to contracts and quality standards.
- Monitor progress against schedules and budgets, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure proper procurement of materials, equipment, and labor.
- Direct day-to-day construction operations on site and in the office.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Promote a culture of safety.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, and project partners.
- Provide regular progress reports, cost tracking, and schedule updates to stakeholders.
- Lead project meetings and coordinate communication between all parties.
Quality Control & Closeout
- Ensure all work meets project specifications and industry standards.
- Oversee project closeout, warranties, and final documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of proven experience managing construction projects of varying size and complexity.
- Certification such as PMP, CCM (Certified Construction Manager), or OSHA training is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, methods, and building codes.
- Proficiency in construction project management software (Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar).
- Excellent skills in leadership, scheduling, cost control, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
