Full job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and administration of residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of construction drawings, proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk and Revit software, and experience using construction management platforms such as CoConstruct, Procore, and Buildertrend.This role serves as a key communication link between site personnel, clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, and within scope. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with exceptional administrative, organizational, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Administration
Coordinate and track multiple construction projects from planning through completion.
Maintain project schedules, milestones, action items, and project documentation.
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, reports, and project updates.
Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential delays or issues.
Assist with contract administration, permit applications, change orders, and project close-out documentation.
Maintain organized and accurate project records and document control systems.

Technical Drawing Review & Design Coordination

Review and analyze architectural, structural, mechanical, and construction drawings and specifications.
Utilize AutoCAD, Autodesk products, and Revit to review, interpret, revise, and coordinate project drawings.
Identify discrepancies, omissions, and conflicts within plans and communicate findings to appropriate stakeholders.
Coordinate drawing revisions and ensure the latest versions are distributed and maintained.
Support project planning through drawing review, take-offs, and documentation management.

Construction Software & Project Tracking

Manage project information using CoConstruct, Procore, Buildertrend, or similar construction management software.
Track project schedules, RFIs, submittals, budgets, purchase orders, and change orders.
Generate project reports and provide regular updates to management and project teams.
Ensure project data is accurate, current, and accessible to all stakeholders.

Stakeholder Communication

Act as a central point of contact for project communications.
Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
Coordinate meetings and follow up on action items to ensure timely completion.
Provide professional written and verbal communication with exceptional English language skills.
Maintain positive relationships while ensuring project expectations and deadlines are met.

Administrative Support

Prepare correspondence, proposals, reports, presentations, and project documentation.
Track project expenditures, invoices, vendor information, and budgets.
Support management with scheduling, document preparation, and operational administration.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and project documentation requirements.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction coordination, project administration, architectural support, or a related role.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk software, and Revit.
Experience using construction management software including CoConstruct, Procore, Buildertrend, or similar platformsA
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, project workflows, and drawing interpretation.
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
