Job Overview

Join our dynamic dental team in Okanagan Falls BC , as a Licensed, Certified, or Chairside Dental Assistant and be at the forefront of delivering exceptional patient care! In this energized role, you will support dentists during a variety of procedures, ensure smooth clinical operations, and create a welcoming environment for patients. Your expertise will help transform smiles while fostering a positive and efficient practice atmosphere. Duties

Assist the dentist during all dental procedures, including exams, restorations, orthodontics, pediatrics, and surgical treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental materials, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
Manage patient flow by greeting patients as they arrive, updating medical histories, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit.
Operate dental software such as Dentrix and Epic to document patient information accurately and efficiently.
Take digital impressions using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for crowns, bridges, or orthodontic appliances.
Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and assisting with dental reception duties.
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and assist in sterilization procedures to ensure a safe clinical environment.

Qualifications

Valid licensure or certification as a Dental Assistant with chairside experience preferred.
Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix and Epic is highly desirable.
Experience working with orthodontics and pediatrics is a plus.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care.
Familiarity with dental assisting techniques including sterilization, patient positioning, and taking digital impressions (CAD).
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Previous experience supporting dental reception duties is beneficial but not required.

Pay: $20.00-$38.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

British Columbia: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
