ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – HUMAN RESOURCES

Permanent Position

Start Date: July 6, 2026

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (7 Hours/Day)

Salary Range: $27.65 - $34.45 per hour

The Interlake School Division (ISD) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Human Resources Department at the ISD Office, located in Stonewall, MB.

Responsibilities will include:

Providing administrative support to the Human Resources Department, including document management, correspondence, and records management
Assisting with Human Resources processes including staffing, recruitment, on-boarding, and leave administration
Reporting to the Human Resources Generalist and Superintendents’ Department
Assisting with day-to-day operations at the ISD Office

The following skills and experiences are considered assets:

Previous experience in an Administrative Assistant role
Human Resources experience and/or relevant post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
Proficiency with Human Resource Information System (HRIS) software and Microsoft Office applications
Familiarity with Manitoba employment standards legislation and The Public Schools Act
