Overview
Laz Fab is seeking a reliable and skilled CNC Laser Machine Operator to support our growing fabrication business. This position offers flexible hours initially, making it ideal for someone looking for part-time, evening, or weekend work. For the right candidate, this role has the potential to transition into a full-time position as workload increases.

Duties

This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in manufacturing technology and precision machining. Candidates should be committed to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous learning within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC laser cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
Work with CAD drawings and DXF files to prepare jobs for production.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications.
Set up materials and machine parameters for cutting operations.
Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Assist with general fabrication and shop duties as required.

Qualifications

Experience operating CNC laser cutting machines.
Proficiency with CAD software and DXF file preparation.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Metal fabrication experience is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and manage projects efficiently.
