The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our day-shift team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment, helping ensure our fleet operates safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
-Perform A and B services on trucks and trailers
-Conduct provincial safety inspections (certification required)
-Inspect and repair trucks and trailer including: Semis, End Dump Trailers, Side Dump Trailers, Center (belly) Dump trailers
-Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical system issues
-Complete routine maintenance
-Assemble and disassemble components as required
-Use power tools and equipment for repairs and fabrication
-Test equipment post-repair to ensure proper operation
-Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
What You Bring
-Proven experience as a Heavy Truck & Trailer Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
-Certification to perform safety inspections (required)
-Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
-Ability to work independently and efficiently
-High attention to detail and commitment to safety
-Physically capable of performing demanding shop work
