Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will assist in various stages of building projects, utilizing a range of tools and equipment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in masonry, restoration, and heavy equipment operation while contributing to high-quality construction and renovation projects. The Laborer will work closely with skilled tradespeople to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality throughout all phases of work.

Duties

Assist with the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to perform construction, masonry, and restoration tasks
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution
Prepare work sites by cleaning, setting up materials, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
Perform demolition, renovation, caulking, and other finishing tasks as required
Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently under supervision
Support team members in lifting, moving, and installing materials or equipment
Follow safety guidelines at all times to maintain a secure work environment
Assist with site cleanup and organization to ensure a tidy workspace

Qualifications

Experience or familiarity with construction sites, masonry, or renovation projects is preferred
Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprint reading is advantageous
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely is a plus
Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labor for extended periods
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
Prior experience in restoration or caulking is beneficial but not required
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks on the job site
