Full job description

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented Fluid Volume Reporting Technician to performs data entry to support fluid volume reporting operations for major oil sands sites including Foster Creek, Christina Lake, and Sunrise.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of operational data within the Energy Components system, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in reporting processes.

Responsibilities:
Daily Operations:

Retrieve, organize, and collate truck tickets by company and date
Enter 60 to 100+ truck and pipeline tickets daily into the Energy Components (EC) system
Review tickets for completeness and accuracy; identify and resolve missing information
Conduct research through archived files and stakeholder communication to obtain required data
Verify fluid source and destination details before entry
Maintain high accuracy standards and review entries daily

Communication & Coordination:

Collaborate with internal teams including Fluid Haul Dispatch, Production Accounting, Measurement, and Environmental Operations
Troubleshoot data discrepancies and resolve anomalies with stakeholders
Gather and process information related to special projects (e.g., propane, butane)

Monthly & Reporting Duties:

Compile and reconcile Third Party Disposal Reports across multiple sites
Reconcile rig reports and ensure alignment with WellView data
Ensure all documentation is retained according to procedures
Coordinate with the Drilling Waste team to ensure completeness for month-end reporting

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to enhance processes, efficiency, and reporting accuracy
Contribute to the development of fluid volume reporting procedures and best practices

Qualifications and Skills:

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Previous experience with Energy Components data entry preferred
Working knowledge of oil & gas or SAGD operations is an asset
Experience with Energy Components and WellView systems
Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook
Understanding of regulatory directives:
- Directive 7 (Volumetric & Infrastructure Requirements)
- Directive 17 (Measurement Requirements)
- Directive 42 (Measurement, Accounting & Reporting Plan)
Familiarity with SAGD operations and disposal waste manifest processes
Highly detail-oriented with strong data accuracy skills
Proactive and solution-focused mindset
Strong collaborator who communicates effectively with cross-functional teams
Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
