Job Summary

Canline Pipeline Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Canadian operations team based out of our Breton, Alberta office.

This is a hands-on project coordination role responsible for supporting multiple active and upcoming field projects from pre-job planning and mobilization through execution, demobilization and final project closeout.

The Project Manager will work closely with Operations, field supervisors, customers, suppliers and administration to ensure crews have the people, equipment, materials, information, documentation and logistical support required to complete their work successfully.

This role requires someone who is highly organized, able to manage multiple projects and changing priorities at the same time, and comfortable taking ownership of issues and following them through to completion. The successful candidate must be able to multitask, prioritize effectively and work with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-moving field-services environment.

This is an in-person position based in Breton, Alberta. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to and from our Breton office or be prepared to relocate. Travel to project locations throughout Alberta, Canada and occasionally the United States will also be required.

Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinate and support multiple active and upcoming projects simultaneously, ensuring project requirements are identified, organized and ready when needed.
Support projects from pre-job planning through mobilization, field execution, demobilization and closeout.
Organize and lead pre-job and project kickoff meetings to ensure scope, schedule, responsibilities, customer requirements, equipment, materials, safety requirements and QA/QC requirements are clearly understood.
Develop and maintain project schedules while coordinating manpower, equipment and other resources across multiple jobs.
Coordinate project logistics, including crews, trucks, trailers, specialized equipment, freight, hotels, materials and travel to project locations.
Ensure field crews have the required equipment, tooling, materials, consumables, project information and documentation before mobilization.
Provide ongoing support to field crews during project execution and assist with resolving scheduling, equipment, material, logistical and documentation issues.
Coordinate purchasing and procurement of project materials, consumables, rentals and subcontracted services.
Work with suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, delivery dates and required materials, and follow up to ensure commitments are met.
Prepare, coordinate and maintain all required project forms and documentation associated with planning, execution and closeout.
Maintain organized project files including scopes of work, pre-job documentation, schedules, field reports, daily reports, field tickets, timesheets, customer correspondence, change documentation and completion records.
Coordinate and review QA/QC documentation, inspection records, test results, data logs and project turnover packages to ensure required records are complete and accurate.
Maintain regular communication with customers, field supervisors, Operations, Administration, suppliers and subcontractors throughout project execution.
Monitor project progress and proactively identify scheduling conflicts, missing materials, equipment requirements, documentation gaps or other issues that could affect the crews.
Adjust and reprioritize work quickly as schedules, customer requirements and field conditions change.
Follow up on outstanding actions and ensure commitments are completed rather than allowing items to remain unresolved.
Ensure completed projects have the necessary documentation organized and ready for final invoicing and project closeout.
Participate in project closeout and lessons-learned reviews to identify improvements for future projects.
Maintain a professional, responsive relationship with customers and provide timely communication when project requirements or conditions change.

This position requires someone who plans ahead, takes ownership and keeps projects moving. In a smaller organization, the Project Manager plays an important role in bringing together Operations, field crews, suppliers, customers and administration to ensure projects are properly prepared and supported from beginning to end.

Pay: $90,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
