Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Gas Station Attendant to provide excellent customer service at our retail location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized station, assisting customers with fuel and convenience store purchases, and ensuring a smooth operation of daily activities. This role offers an opportunity to develop strong communication and sales skills in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities and experience with retail sales or cashiering are highly valued to better serve our diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling vehicles efficiently
Operate POS systems for cash handling, sales transactions, and product purchases
Maintain cleanliness of the station, including fueling areas, convenience store, and surrounding premises
Restock merchandise, manage inventory, and ensure product displays are organized and appealing
Provide product demos or upsell items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
Handle customer inquiries courteously via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
Manage cash register operations accurately, including basic math calculations for transactions
Ensure safety protocols are followed during fueling operations and store activities
Assist with merchandising efforts to promote special offers or new products
Support team members as needed to ensure efficient station operation during shifts

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities (English and another language) are a plus
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Excellent organizational skills and time management to prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to operate POS systems and handle cash with precision
Friendly demeanor with strong phone etiquette and customer service orientation
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed

This position provides an engaging work environment where you can develop valuable skills in sales, customer service, and retail operations while contributing to a positive customer experience.

Pay: $15.50-$17.50 per hour
