Our client, a leading North American bakery company, is seeking a Shipper-Food Production Facility to join their team. As a Shipper, you will be part of the production team supporting the packaging and quality assurance of delicious baked goods. The ideal candidate will have strong people skills, a dedication to health and safety, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipper-Food Production Facility

Location: Amherst, NS

Pay Range: $19.89 per hour

Shift: 12-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week

What's the Job?

Pick, pack, sort, and package fresh products into bags and boxes.
Work in the production/packaging area to make and stack boxes onto pallets.
Inspect filled packages to ensure product is packaged according to specifications.
Collaborate closely with production team members to ensure product quality.
Assist machine operators and crew with other duties as assigned.

A passion for bread and baked goods.
Strong people skills—approachable, a good listener, and empathetic.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing.
Commitment to health and safety for yourself and your colleagues.
Ability to digest constructive feedback and use it to improve your skills and performance.
