Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Representative for Automotive Parts to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers, managing sales transactions, and providing expert advice on automotive parts and accessories. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of automotive repair and retail sales, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships. Experience with dealership operations, POS systems, and marketing strategies is highly valued. Duties

Assist customers in selecting automotive parts and accessories that meet their needs
Manage sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash or card payments
Provide detailed product information and technical advice on automotive repair and maintenance
Maintain organized inventory records and ensure proper order fulfillment
Engage in upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and communication
Support marketing initiatives to promote new products and special offers
Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Requirements

Proven experience in dealership sales, retail sales, or automotive parts sales preferred
Familiarity with POS systems, CMMS, Microsoft Excel, and order fulfillment processes
Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and negotiation abilities
Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
Knowledge of automotive repair processes and parts is highly desirable
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management
Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately
Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build rapport quickly
Strong math skills for order processing and pricing calculations
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
