Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, schematics, and industrial electrical systems, with the ability to work safely and efficiently in diverse environments. The Electrician will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and compliance of electrical infrastructure within our organization.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install or repair electrical systems.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, circuits, and equipment in industrial or construction settings.
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical tasks efficiently.
Work with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes.
Conduct inspections to identify electrical issues and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
Assist with renovation projects by updating or upgrading existing electrical systems.
Follow all safety protocols and electrical codes to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other trades or team members during construction or maintenance projects.
Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project.

Experience

Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or construction environments is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices.
Familiarity with low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and automation controls.
Experience with renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or modifications.
Additional handyman or general construction experience is a plus.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while adhering to safety standards.

This position offers an opportunity for qualified electricians to contribute their expertise to diverse projects while ensuring safety and compliance across all tasks performed.

Pay: $24.00-$45.00 per hour
