Full time - Office manager / Kitchen Designer to the owner at a small shop in our new location in Trenton Ontario
We are a small commercial woodworking company looking to expand into the residential market.
We now require a long term office manager/ kitchen designer to immediately join our small family style team to assist with our growing business. Some experience with reading architectural drawings, autocad (or other cabinet software) and quickbooks would be an asset in this position.
Tasks include, but are not limited to maintaining the following items:
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Working with sales team to design cabinets for residential clients
- Supplier relations and simple negotiations
- Calendar management
- Keeping track of ongoing projects (both commerical and residential)
- Project Coordination (both commerical and residential)
- Creating simple Auto-Cad (or other cabinet software) shop drawings for cabinets
- Basic supervised online sales creation and management -eg. Etsy, Facebook Marketplace
- All other task and assignment assigned as per the owner of the company
The ideal candidate should have demonstrated and well developed skills in the following areas
- Excellent Problem Solving skills and ability to work with little micromanagement
- Ability to lift 50 lbs when occasionally needed to prepare for deliveries or other situations
- Strong Verbal AND Written Communication is a must
- Organization and Planning skills
- Research and Documentation ability
- Ability to prioritize in a complex, and fast-paced environment
- Analytical and Spreadsheet skills
- Proven effectiveness in a fast paced environment
- Some basic online sales - eg. Etsy, Facebook Marketplace
- Strong attention to detail
Please Note: *Although we do our best to keep the office neat and clean, please note that there is wood dust that will undoubtedly come into the office, as well as noise from the factory floor.
We are quickly growing and expanding and are looking to add this person to our team long term.
Salary - $37 - 42K per year based on experience
Bonus pay is available and is dependent on quarterly company performance as well as individual performance.
