CLEANER (Full-time seasonal until the middle of September)

HLD Muskoka is a long-standing company with over 30 years in the construction industry, dedicated to its employees and clients. Situated in the town of Huntsville, Ontario we work hard in one of Canada’s most beautiful and sought-after regions. We build custom residential buildings, from excavation through to continued property maintenance.

Overview:
Clean that matches the caliber of the build! In high-end construction the finishing touch is just as important as the build itself. We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented cleaning professionals who take pride in preparing premium spaces for client handover. In this role, you’ll work alongside a supportive team to ensure each project is presented at its absolute best—clean, polished, and ready to impress. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organize and tidy up rooms, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing and functional
Change bed linens, make beds as needed
Fold towels and napkins with precision
Polish furniture, fixtures and fittings to maintain a high level of shine
Clean windows, mirrors and glass surfaces
Vacuuming, washing, moping and scrubbing floors and stairs
Restock household supplies such as toilet paper, tissues and hand soap
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of outdoor areas including patios, decks and walkways
Wash and clean patio furniture, outdoor cushions and accessories
Sweep and clear pathways of debris
Assist in other basic gardening/landscape tasks as required
Report/resolve any client issues
Provide cleaning support at our residential construction sites, such as disposing of construction debris in appropriate bins and ensuring the site is organized
Empty trash cans and other waste containers
Additional duties as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED:

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 50-pounds repetitively during working hours
Energetic, positive and outgoing attitude
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
Has strong attention to detail

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid G level driver’s licence with clean abstract
