Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery. The Machine Operator will ensure high-quality production standards are met while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor steel cutting machinery.
Perform machine setup, calibration, and changeovers efficiently to meet production schedules.
Conduct quality control checks using calipers, hand tools, and other measuring devices to ensure parts meet specifications.
Maintain proper documentation of production runs and machine logs.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs.
Assist with assembly, packaging, or warehouse tasks as needed to support overall production flow.
Follow safety protocols diligently and report any safety concerns or malfunctions immediately.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or press brake machines.
Mechanical aptitude with experience in machining, welding, assembly, and the use of hand tools.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and use precision measurement tools like calipers.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes including quality control standards and packaging procedures.
Warehouse experience is a plus.
Math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail. This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals with a passion for manufacturing technology and precision machining to contribute to high-quality production processes in a professional setting.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
