Job Title: Concert and Event Coordinating Assistant

Duties:
1. Assist Music Office staff with coordination of concert and event logistics including arranging Front of House, Backstage, Video & Recording assistants, and piano moves.
2. Assist with executing social media strategies and initiatives.
3. Disseminate social media content and gather photos/bios/videos to support promotion of events.
4. Communicate concert schedules and upcoming events to campus stakeholders.
5. Other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
1. Considerable advanced skills and judgment.
2. Ability to work independently and/or with others effectively.
3. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, including offering support and guidance.
4. Strong attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills and self-motivated.
5. Must be available for evening and weekend shifts, as needed.
6. Experience creating and managing professional social media accounts is an asset.
7. Graphic Design, Info graphics, and video editing experience is an asset.
Education:
1. Preference given to a current student or recent graduate of the Brandon University School of Music.
2. Strong academic standing may be required.
