Job Title: IT Helpdesk Assistant

Department: IT Services

Wage: $17.63 per hour SAII or RAI

Hours of Work: Part-time with shifts between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Date Issued: July 22, 2026

Number of Positions available: 6

Length of Appointment: August 24, 2026 to May 1, 2027

Deadline to Apply: July 31, 2026, at 4:30pm

Duties:

This position is responsible for providing first level support for students, staff and faculty on campus.

Position works alongside permanent IT staff to resolve login problems, record and direct support tickets, gather information on problems and relay common solutions, AV equipment bookings and other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

Full-time/Part-time Brandon University student
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
A background with technology and computer support is an asset
