The Front Desk Receptionist – Shipping & Receiving Support is responsible for providing front-desk reception services and administrative support while assisting with basic shipping and receiving coordination. This role ensures efficient office operations by managing incoming communications, greeting visitors, supporting documentation and clerical tasks, and providing general administrative assistance to the team as required. Additional duties related to the role may be assigned based on operational needs.
The role is situated in Camrose, AB and is not a remote or hybrid position.

Essential Job Functions
Front Desk & Visitor Management

Serve as the primary point of contact at the front desk, professionally welcoming and directing visitors, vendors, contractors, and employees while maintaining a courteous and organized reception environment.

Manage incoming communications, including screening and directing inbound phone calls, emails, and general inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Administer visitor registration procedures, ensuring all visitors comply with company safety, security, and site access requirements.
Administrative & Office Support

Provide administrative support to the Yard and Shipping departments, assisting with documentation, coordination, and general administrative tasks to support operational efficiency.

Receive, review, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate distribution to the appropriate departments.

Monitor and maintain office supply inventory levels and coordinate orders as required to ensure uninterrupted office operations.

Maintain organized administrative systems and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Prepare and maintain reports, records, and related administrative documentation with a high level of accuracy and organization.

Perform other duties related to the position as assigned to support operational and administrative needs.
Shipping, Receiving & Operational Coordination

Prepare, review, and maintain shipping and receiving documentation, including Bills of Lading, packing slips, and other required logistics records.

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with warehouse personnel and external carriers, ensuring accurate communication of schedules, deliveries, and shipment status.

Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and tracking records, ensuring documentation is organized, up to date, and compliant with company procedures.

Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion when interacting with employees, management, executives, vendors, and visitors.

Demonstrate professionalism and sound judgment when handling sensitive information and daily operational matters.
Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Administrative Assistant, Receptionist, or similar administrative support role preferred.

Must be able to operate computers, telephones, photocopiers, and other standard office equipment.

Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety footwear, hearing protection, and safety glasses when entering production areas.

Education & Certifications
