One of our manufacturing clients in Chatham, ON area is looking for Maintenance Planner for their plant.

Shift - Day Shift

Pay range - upto $100k/year

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for production equipment and facility systems.
Create and maintain maintenance work orders, job plans, and equipment records within the CMMS system.
Coordinate maintenance schedules with production teams to minimize operational disruptions.
Ensure all required parts, tools, materials, and resources are available before maintenance work begins.
Monitor equipment performance and maintenance history to identify improvement opportunities.
Assist in developing and updating preventive maintenance programs.
Track maintenance KPIs, including downtime, work order completion, and equipment reliability.
Work closely with maintenance technicians, supervisors, and production personnel to prioritize maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, equipment records, and inventory usage.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
Ensure maintenance activities comply with company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Assist with contractor coordination and maintenance project planning as required.

Requirements:

3 5 years of experience in a Maintenance Planner or similar role.
Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Technical diploma from a Community College or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience using eMaint or similar maintenance planning/CMMS software.
Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD is an asset.
