Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to join our Company. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, recording financial data, and overseeing various office functions. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, high level communication and the ability to multitask.

Job duties

Answer and respond to general phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
Respond to general requests for information in an accommodating manner
Receive clients/visitors in a professional manner
Sort/prioritize/answer incoming mail, emails, messages and forward to appropriate staff
Accounts receivable - Prepare customer invoices, record payments, some collections.
Accounts payable - Record all payables and prepare payments to vendors
Report payroll to payroll service
Record and prepare minutes of meetings
Code and file material according to the procedures
Perform clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, and managing office supplies.
Provide support to other staff
Develop and maintain filing systems for documents, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information.

Job Requirements:

Education: Post-secondary education in a recognized accounting program, an accounting/bookkeeping certificate or diploma or business administration diploma or an equivalent blend of education and experience.

Experience:

2+ years bookkeeping (Quickbooks)
2+ years Administration
Proficient with Microsoft office, including intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook

Personal suitability:

Accurate
Dependable
Organized
Detail Oriented and ability to problem solve
Strong verbal, written and communication skills

Language: English required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Experience:

QuickBooks: 2 years (required)
Bookkeeping: 2 years (required)
