Millworker / Cabinet Maker

Job Summary

Pikaso is seeking a highly skilled, organized, and safety-conscious Millworker/Cabinet Maker to join our growing team. The successful candidate will use advanced woodworking machinery and hand tools to fabricate premium-quality products from detailed shop drawings.

Our shop specializes in high-end retail store fixtures, custom cabinetry, and bespoke furniture, and we take pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and safely operate industrial woodworking equipment, including table saws, band saws, mitre saws, planers, jointers, and other shop machinery.
Fabricate and assemble custom cabinetry, retail fixtures, and furniture to precise specifications.
Apply plastic laminate to a variety of substrates, ensuring seamless, durable, high-quality finishes.
Work confidently with plywood, MDF, particleboard, plastic laminate, and solid wood.
Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints accurately and independently.
Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed.
Work overtime when required to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

Required Experience

Minimum 5 years of professional experience working with laminate and laminated materials.
Minimum 5 years of experience in cabinet making or architectural millwork.
Advanced knowledge of industrial woodworking machinery and safe operating procedures.
Ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality, precision workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

Monday to Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Occasional overtime as required.
