Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with Pur & Simple’s established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and plate dishes according to standardized recipes and quality expectations
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times
Ensure proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures are followed
Assist with daily food preparation, opening and closing duties, and kitchen organization
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service operations
Uphold Pur & Simple’s brand standards and commitment to exceptional guest experiences

Qualifications

Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a line cook or in a comparable kitchen role
Prior experience in breakfast or brunch service is considered a strong asset
Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong sense of urgency and ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills
Availability for early morning shifts (typically between 6:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.)
