OUT OF TOWN OPPORTUNTIES
Apex completes projects throughout Ontario, and some assignments require travel outside the Ottawa region.
For approved out-of-town projects:
- Accommodation is arranged and fully paid for by Apex
- Meals are covered
- Project locations are communicated before mobilization
- Expected project durations are provided in advance
- Travel assignments are scheduled ahead whenever possible
Contractors willing to travel will have access to additional project opportunities throughout Ontario.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of relevant construction or trade experience
- Demonstrated experience completing similar projects
- Photos or examples of recently completed work
- Verifiable references
- Reliable transportation
- Appropriate tools and equipment for their trade
- Valid driver's licence where required
- Ability to work from written scopes and project drawings
- Strong communication and professional conduct
COMPENSATION
Compensation is competitive and negotiated based on trade, experience, crew size, project complexity, and scope of work.
Projects may be structured as:
- Fixed-price subcontract scopes
- Unit-rate work
- Labour-based assignments
- Project-based contracts
- Ongoing subcontract work
- Sales commissions (if involved in estimation)
- Performance bonuses based on achieving project milestones
Pricing, scope, schedule, and expectations are agreed upon before work begins.
Pay: $250.00-$400.00 per day
