Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and professional Field Inspection Monitor to oversee and support our school crossing guard program. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, and compliance while serving as a positive representative of our company within the community.
Must reside in the M4, M5, or M6 postal codes - no exceptions
Shift Timings:
Monday – Friday: 7:00am-9:00am, 11:00am-1:00pm, 2:30pm-4:00pm
Responsibilities
- Conduct and complete daily and weekly quality assurance inspections of school crossing locations.
- Monitor crossing guard performance to ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and client expectations.
- Coach and mentor crossing guards by recognizing strengths and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Report safety concerns, incidents, hazards, and performance issues to the Field Supervisor.
- Conduct regular field visits to support crossing guards and maintain a visible presence.
- Build positive relationships with the public.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Promoting company policies and serving as a positive role model.
Job Requirement
Must have a recent Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or be able to obtain a VSS and provide a copy of the results during the onboarding process.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE – What you will bring?
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Keen alertness to surrounding and ability to follow directions and procedures.
- Ability to maintain high degree of mental concentration, with visual and hearing ability to recognize traffic at a safe distance.
- Ability to walk pedestrians safely across busy intersections and react safely and decisively to traffic conditions.
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions (cold, snow, heat, humidity, wind etc.)
- Be punctual and remain on the assigned location for the duration of shifts (mornings, lunch and dismissal)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
