Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food industry best practices are preferred. The Server will play a key role in delivering memorable dining experiences through excellent customer service and efficient service skills.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and communication with kitchen staff
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards
Assist with food preparation or kitchen duties as needed to support overall restaurant operations
Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and sanitation protocols
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure guest satisfaction

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of the food industry standards
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling
Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales revenue
Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and interact with guests professionally
Hospitality-oriented mindset focused on guest satisfaction and creating a welcoming environment

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
