A large enterprise organization in Ontario's energy sector is in the middle of a significant finance transformation — implementing SAP S/4HANA across its entire Finance function while simultaneously managing the financial oversight of multiple multi-billion-dollar capital programs. About the Opportunity
The SAP Finance workstream is active — covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and Project Systems. The program needs CPA-qualified professionals who understand finance processes deeply enough to lead workstream design sessions, validate system configurations, and support go-live and hypercare. In parallel, the organization's capital program portfolio — refurbishment, new build, and infrastructure upgrades — generates ongoing demand for project finance analysts, cost controllers, and investment tax credit specialists who can manage financial reporting and compliance at program scale.
What You Could Be Working On

Leading or supporting finance workstream activities within the SAP S/4HANA implementation, including process design, configuration review, and UAT

Providing financial analysis, reporting, and variance explanations for large capital programs

Supporting investment tax credit programs including data validation, CRA filing support, and audit readiness

Managing project cost accounting, forecasting, and reconciliation across EcoSys, SAP, and financial reporting systems

Developing financial models, working papers, and documentation for internal and external review

Supporting month-end, year-end, and audit processes
What We're Looking For

CPA designation — required for workstream lead and senior analyst roles

4 to 12+ years of finance or accounting experience in a complex, multi-entity organization

SAP S/4HANA or ECC experience — particularly FI/CO — is a strong asset for transformation roles

Experience in project finance, cost accounting, or capital program financial management is an asset

Strong analytical skills and experience working across cross-functional teams
