Notion Studios is looking for a Quality Control Specialist who loves attention to detail as much as they love their [insert pet, favourite human, can’t-live-without food]. Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with an eye for every single detail and makes it their mission to uphold Notion’s high standard of quality work.
As our Quality Control Specialist, you'll be the final gatekeeper on creative before it goes out the door. You'll review artwork, copy, revisions and production deliverables to ensure everything is accurate, polished and aligned with approved materials and brand standards.
Candidates must be able to commute to the office on mandatory in-office days.

· You can switch between projects and brands without losing accuracy
· You have strong communication skills, both written and oral, and are comfortable giving constructive feedback
· You have a process-oriented mindset and are committed to ensuring it’s followed
· You can compare multiple documents and versions efficiently
· You understand creative production workflows
· You have experience working with brand guidelines and style guides
· You understand artwork and production set-up requirements to ensure format and specifications are completed correctly
· Your curiosity motivates you to identify root causes to recurring issues and improve accuracy within the company
· You are a team player and believe in working together to find solutions

You also have:
· 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within the Advertising industry
· Ideal: Experience working with regulatory and legal guidelines
· Bonus: Basic knowledge of Canadian French
What you’ll do:
Production & Quality Assurance
· React to projects as they are completed by the Studio to maintain continuous flow and optimize efficiency in keeping projects moving through the process
· Work closely with our Resource Manager to manage project priorities and stay ahead of client deadlines
· Review artwork across digital, print, email, social and other channels for accuracy and completeness of task(s)
· Verify that all client feedback and revision requests have been implemented correctly
· Proofread artwork against approved copy decks and have a solid understanding of brand style guides to support in catching inaccuracies within copy decks
· Review French versions against approved translations
· Ensure no approved content has been inadvertently removed, altered or introduced during revisions
· Ensure campaign consistency across versions, languages and omni-channel elements
· Confirm adherence to brand guidelines, internal standards and campaign requirements
· Evaluate overall layout, typography and spacing, and work with our Creative, Copy and Dev team to ensure design polish and attention to detail is upheld
· Conduct final pre-flight production reviews and checklists across all mediums before deliverables are released to clients
· Flag discrepancies, omissions, or potential concerns during QA review ahead of final output
Quality Improvement & Team Feedback
· Document errors, trends, and recurring issues identified during QA reviews
· Provide timely, constructive feedback to Studio, Copy, Developers and Project Management teams when errors are found
· Serve as a quality advocate by helping teams understand cause of error and how to prevent them in future work
· Identify recurring patterns and opportunities for process, workflow or documentation improvements
· Maintain and contribute to Final Art checklists, best practices and quality standards
· Collaborate with Leadership Team to improve overall accuracy, efficiency and consistency across deliverables
· Escalate significant quality concerns or recurring issues when additional support or process changes may be required
