Full job description

Overview

We are filling immediate positions, looking for skilled Building Erection / Framing professionals to join our construction team. We are hiring for 1 FOREMAN, and 3 ERECTORS for long term steady employment to support this division. This role primarily involves the assembly and installation of structural frameworks for various building projects, requiring a strong understanding of construction principles and safety standards. The role is required to be flexible in duties, supporting other in house divisions when needed. The ideal candidates will have experience in carpentry, rigging, heavy lifting, and operating power tools, with a focus on delivering quality craftsmanship in a timely manner. There is a need to be flexible on travel, and working away from home. This position offers opportunities for growth within the construction industry and requires a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate framing and erection of structures
Assemble building frameworks using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment
Perform concrete forming, finishing, and restoration tasks as needed for structural integrity
Install siding, woodwork, and other exterior or interior components according to project specifications
Operate heavy machinery safely for lifting and positioning large structural elements
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes
Assist in the setup and teardown of job sites, maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or framing projects
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and woodworking techniques
Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration is a plus
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including cranes or forklifts preferred
Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces
Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety compliance
Valid certification or experience in welding or concrete finishing is advantageous
Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to project timelines
