Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic French and Math Teacher to inspire students and foster a love for language and numbers. In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons in French language and literature as well as mathematics, creating an interactive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking. Your expertise will help students develop their language skills, problem-solving abilities, and confidence in both subjects. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on learners’ academic journeys while working in a vibrant educational setting.

Duties

Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans for French language, literature, and mathematics aligned with curriculum standards
Deliver engaging instruction in French, incorporating speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises to enhance fluency
Conduct tutoring sessions to support individual student needs in both French and Math
Create a positive classroom atmosphere that motivates students and encourages active participation
Assess student progress through regular quizzes, assignments, and exams; provide constructive feedback
Incorporate technology and multimedia tools to enrich lessons and facilitate interactive learning experiences
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and share best teaching practices
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and development

Qualifications

Proven classroom experience teaching French language, literature, or Math at various levels
Fluency in French and English; proficiency in Mandarin, Spanish, or Japanese is a plus
Strong writing skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively
Experience working with children or young learners; patience and adaptability are essential
Knowledge of tutoring techniques to support diverse learning styles
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple classes simultaneously
Passion for education and fostering student growth across linguistic and mathematical disciplines
