Full job description

We are hiring a skilled Handyman / Maintenance Contractor to support residential apartment turnovers and general maintenance across condominium units in different locations in the GTA.

This is a hands-on role involving unit preparation, repairs, and maintenance work to ensure apartments are fully move-in ready.

Scope of work

Complete full apartment turnovers (start to finish)
Perform general handyman repairs, touch-ups, and installations
Painting, patching, caulking, and minor drywall repair
Repair doors, frames, hinges, handles, and closet hardware
Replace light bulbs, smoke detectors, and basic fixtures
Basic plumbing repairs (e.g., P-traps, minor leaks)
Conduct unit inspections and identify maintenance issues
Coordinate with subcontractors when needed (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
Use mobile app to log work, photos, and updates
Participate in on-call rotation (evenings/weekends as required)

Must-Have Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in handyman, maintenance, or superintendent role
Must own a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
Must have own basic toolset
Smartphone with data plan (iOS or Android)
Ability to travel across GTA daily
Physically able to lift up to 25 kg and work on ladders
Strong English communication skills
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Willing to undergo background check

Nice to Have:

Construction or renovation experience
Condominium maintenance or property management experience
