Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Receptionist, where your energetic and organized approach will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, coordinate appointments, and ensure smooth communication between patients and medical staff. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment while supporting efficient office workflows. Duties

Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression of the practice
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls accurately and professionally
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using electronic medical records systems such as Epic or Dentrix
Collect patient information, verify insurance details, and update medical records with precision
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and faxes
Maintain organized front desk operations, ensuring all paperwork is complete and filed correctly
Support clinical staff by preparing patient charts and assisting with administrative tasks as needed

Skills

Proficiency with electronic medical records platforms like Epic or Dentrix
Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately communicate with patients and staff
Experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office environment is highly desirable
Prior medical or dental office experience demonstrating familiarity with front desk procedures
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy office setting
Skilled in handling multi-line phone systems with professionalism and clarity
Solid understanding of office administration, including managing schedules and maintaining confidentiality
