Momentum Design Build, a proud member of The Hazelwood Group, is looking for a skilled Carpenter or Apprentice to join our dynamic crew. If you’re experienced, motivated, and ready to work on exciting custom builds, multi-family homes, spec projects, and commercial developments, we want to hear from you.

Compensation
- Journeyperson Carpenter: $37–$40/hour
- 4th-Year Apprentice: $32-$35/hour
- 3rd-Year Apprentice: $29-$32/hour
- 2nd-Year Apprentice: $27-$30/hour
What You’ll Do:
- Concrete layout, forming & placing
- Framing (layout, constructing, inspecting)
- Window & door installs
- Building envelope: flashing, rain screen, weatherproofing
- Interior finishing: trim, doors, flooring, cabinetry
- Protective surface placements
- Deck framing & exterior woodwork
- Structural & fine carpentry, built-ins, custom details
- Stair & railing construction
- Temporary builds for safety, storage, weather
- Light drywall & taping tasks
- Scaffolding, tool maintenance, equipment handling
- Timesheet & log entries, preventative maintenance schedules
- Supervise laborers, take direction, work with the Site Manager
- Contribute to quality & safety systems
- Pitch in on other tasks as needed
What You Bring:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience
- Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, tools
- Ability to read blueprints and do layout, framing, finishing
- Safety-conscious—WorkSafe BC knowledge a must
- First Aid & CPR a plus
- Great communicator & team player
- Time management skills & initiative
- Valid driver’s license required
