Parts Person – Warehouse & Inventory

Job Summary
We are seeking a Parts Person to join our Campbell River location. The successful candidate will assist customers and service technicians with identifying and sourcing required parts, provide pricing information, process parts orders, and support day-to-day warehouse and inventory operations.
This role is ideal for someone with strong parts or warehouse knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and locating required parts and materials.
- Provide accurate parts pricing and product information.
- Process online and other parts orders efficiently and accurately.
- Unload, receive, inspect, and store incoming parts and materials.
- Locate, pick, package, and ship parts to customers and other branches.
- Provide parts-related support to branch service technicians as required.
- Place inventory stock orders based on business requirements.
- Perform inventory counts and make accurate bin and inventory adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information.
- Operate parts, warehouse, and material-handling equipment safely.
- Use computer systems and software to manage parts, inventory, and customer information.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse and yard environment.
- Troubleshoot parts-related issues and provide effective solutions.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in parts, warehouse, inventory, or a related environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of parts and warehouse operations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive and lasting relationships with customers, both in person and over the phone.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using computers and business software, including Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to accurately enter, manage, and maintain inventory and parts data.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of performing parts and warehouse duties.
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Journeyperson certification is considered an asset.
Work Environment
This is an onsite, hands-on parts and warehouse position involving regular movement, lifting, material handling, inventory management, and interaction with customers and service personnel.
