Job Description:
Rocky View Yards Landscaping is currently seeking a passionate and reliable individual with the right skills and knowledge to join our friendly team of professionals as a Construction Foreperson. You will be responsible for leading landscape construction installations. Bringing exceptional leadership and time management skills, the Construction Crew Lead will guide their team through various construction projects, providing them with the skills and motivation to complete all tasks on time, on budget and safely, while exercising their strong knowledge in construction best practices to ensure that all projects have been completed to the highest standards. You will get to work with a great team of landscape professionals who take great pride in their accomplishments year round.

Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- The ability to work well with others and independently.
- Detailed knowledge of the landscape industry.
- A valid Class 5 or better driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- The ability to drive a truck and trailer.
- A clean criminal record.
- A smartphone with a minimum of 5 GB of data and proficiency in using smartphone apps.
- At least 4 years of landscape/hardscaping experience (maintenance does not count).
- At least 2 years of experience as a crew lead in landscape or other construction industries.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy weights regularly.
- At least 500 hours of operating experience on a stand-on and loader type skid steer.
- Excavator experience (an asset).
- The ability to use a demo saw to cut pavers and wall blocks safely and efficiently.
Position Details:
- Start Date: Immediately
- Duration: Through November, with the potential to work throughout the winter.
- Pay: $34-$40 per hour and overtime pa.
- Hours: 45-50 hours per week.
