Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living assistance. This vital role involves offering companionship, ensuring safety, and promoting independence for clients in a comfortable, home-like environment. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of those they serve. Duties

Provide personalized caregiving support, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation.
Assist with medication management and ensure adherence to prescribed health routines.
Support clients with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and organizing daily schedules.
Monitor health status and communicate any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals promptly.
Create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that encourages independence and dignity.
Maintain detailed records of care provided, activities performed, and any incidents or observations.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to personal support.
Classroom experience or early childhood education background is an advantage for working with young clients or families.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with patience, professionalism, and discretion.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
Valid certification in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected.
Flexibility to work in a live-in setting with adaptable hours based on client needs.
