Using conventional and advanced manufacturing techniques, these facilities provide a range of technically challenging services involving high tolerance manufacturing of complex components. Value is delivered to our clients through providing innovative contracting strategies, designed to reduce customer inventory levels, minimize equipment downtime, and optimize commercial terms.

Overview

The Truck Driver / Material Handler / Shipper Receiver is a key member of the NTS Manufacturing Group. This role will support the Planning/Shipping department while reporting directly to Planning Manager.

Hiring Immediately - Truck Driver / Material Handler / Shipper Receiver - Driving a truck with 30' gooseneck trailer is manadatory

Responsibilities

Operation of forklift, including pallets and 30' tubular and overhead crane operations.
Responsibilities include material handling with pallet jacks and forklifts.
Strapping with metal and fabric banding finish product onto pallets for shipping.
Shrink wrapping pallets and attaching delivery notes to pallets prior to shipping.
Loading and unloading trucks with forklift outside facility.
Receiving raw bar stock.
Managing and organizing stock material in yard and shop.
Empty chip hoppers as required into the proper container.
Learn how to run basic machine shop equipment such as a saw and shot peen machine.
Inventory Control (receiving ,managing and issue to BOM)
Receive customer supplied tools , visual inspection and entering in ERP system
Receiving purchase orders.
Closing work orders and preparing delivery ticket and shipping documents.
Managing shipping / receiving 3rd party venders.
Commercial invoices for international freights.
Misc. housekeeping and safety duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

2+ years production experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
Ability to drive a truck hauling a 30' gooseneck trailer loaded with down hole drilling tools.
Prior experience in forklift, overhead crane operations and material handling experience preferred.
Knowledge of various manufacturing process equipment, overhead cranes, power hand tools preferred.
Ability to maintain primary job duties with little supervision.
Requires good verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of basic computer skills ,and have the ability to perform work in accordance with established safety procedures and standard operating procedures.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
