Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the timely preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant’s standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and experience working in a fast-paced food service environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and grow within the food industry.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
Assist with food preparation tasks such as inventroy, chopping and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients
Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations and safety guidelines
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred, especially in food preparation or cooking roles
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Strong understanding of meal preparation, cooking methods, and food presentation
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
Basic knowledge of serving procedures and customer service principles is a plus
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if required
Passion for the food industry with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
