Rainy River
Situated in beautiful northwestern Ontario, 65 km northwest of Fort Frances, the Rainy River mine is an open pit and underground, gold and silver producing, residential mine site.
The Rainy River mine, located adjacent to the Ontario/Minnesota border is 65 kilometers northwest of Fort Frances, Ontario and is situated half way between Winnipeg, Manitoba and Thunder Bay, Ontario The area is home to more than 130 species of birds and large populations of moose, black bear and deer. About The Role
Position: Mine Maintenance Planner

Position Reports To: Senior Reliability Specialist
Position Overview
Reporting to the Senior Reliability Specialist, the successful applicant will be maintaining and developing the predictive/preventative maintenance program for the surface mobile equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule maintenance for the surface equipment fleet, comprising of Caterpillar, Sandvik, Komatsu, and various small equipment manufacturers.
- Create preventative, predictive, and regulatory maintenance plans in SAP.
- Track work order compliance and ensure all regulatory work is executed each month.
- Lead planning and scheduling meetings with Maintenance Superintendents, Supervisors, and contractor work groups.
- Update equipment Bill of Materials.
- Perform parts criticality assessments and submit inventory requests for critical components.
- Review completed work order packages to create follow up work orders.
- Scan and attach completed hard copy work orders to the work orders in SAP.
- Work with contractor technicians and maintenance supervisors to ensure vendor managed inventory usage is accounted for, and components are charged to the correct units.
- Support operations and maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
- Work with reliability team to ensure their concerns and action items are scheduled and executed.
Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of experience in a mine environment or heavy equipment industry.
- Journeyman trades ticket, technologist diploma, or engineering degree is a definite asset.
- Expected to have experience in similar roles and knowledge of mobile maintenance disciplines.
- Previous experience with SAP or similar CMMS is a definite asset.
- Good computer skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is an asset.
- Proven communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must be extremely organized, have good interpersonal skills, be cooperative and able to work with cross-functional teams.
- Employment is subject to successfully completing Coeur’s pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada

The anticipated salary range for this position will be between $90,500.00 - $105,000.00
