We are currently looking for a Dispatch Coordinator to join Radiant and be part of our dynamic team. This posting is for an existing vacant position within the organization.
HYBRID WORK MODEL: Work in the office at 1280 Courtneypark Drive E, Mississauga every Monday Wednesday and Thursday. Work from home Tuesday and Fridays. NOTE: Work in the office full-time starting 2027.
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze booking information from customer in order to determine and verify the service requirements, verify the appropriate routes, border crossing points, customs broker, and rates. Enter information in the system as required.
- Liaise with carriers in order to confirm equipment availability, expectations and load details.
- Source new carriers as required.
- Contact shippers and receivers to book appointments and verify shipping and receiving hours and installers availability.
- Dispatch the load by sending the load confirmation to secure the carrier.
- Track and trace the load as required.
- Provide customer updates on any issues and delays and provide solutions.
- Build strong relationships with the carriers and customers.
- Negotiate rates with carriers to maximize profit margin.
- Monitor on time performance. Complete performance reports (NCSR) for all carrier related issues. Notify ongoing or escalated issues to management team if required.
- Negotiate any additional charges with carriers. Gather proof of delivery for any discrepancies. Advise the customer.
- Work with Invoicing to resolve any invoice discrepancies.
- Provide information to Claims and Reverse Logistics on any OS&D issues.
- Understand current industry market conditions. Communicate any carrier issues that might impact operations.
- Be proactive by providing spot rates to obtain more loads and collaborate with the Pricing team to get the best possible rates.
- Other duties and assignments as required.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a dispatch role with FTL and/or LTL experience in a 3PL / non-asset environment.
- Experience in a customer facing role is required.
- Strong knowledge of North American geography including transit schedules, time zones.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office i.e. Outlook, Word.
- Intermediate computer skills required in Excel i.e. filter, sort, formulas.
- Working knowledge of transportation management software i.e. TEDS, Load Link, PC Miler, E2 Open, etc.
- Experience using customer website portals to schedule pickup and deliveries.
- Dedicated commitment to providing superior, timely internal and external customer service.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written form.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a team environment.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Team cooperation and respect is required.

- Detail-oriented.
- Work well under pressure in a time sensitive environment.
