Position Summary
The Site Supervisor oversees all on-site construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with specifications and drawings. They coordinate between subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and the project management team.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan, organize, and supervise all on-site construction activities.
· Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
· Conduct daily site meetings and coordinate with the Project Manager and consultants.
· Ensure compliance with building codes, specifications, and safety regulations.
· Oversee quality control and perform inspections of ongoing work.
· Prepare and maintain daily progress reports and safety documentation.
· Identify potential delays or conflicts and develop mitigation strategies.
· Manage site logistics, including deliveries, waste removal, and site security.
· Ensure site safety by enforcing OH&S (Occupational Health & Safety) standards.
· Communicate with the client, consultants, and project management regarding progress and issues.
Qualifications
· Minimum 5–10 years of construction experience, with at least 3 in a supervisory capacity.
· Diploma or certificate in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
· Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and construction methods.
· Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
· Proficiency in construction management software.
