Confident Enough to Lead the Conversation.
Humble Enough to Keep Learning.
Most job ads list requirements. This one describes a person.
- You’re confident without needing to be the loudest person in the room.
- You’re driven by an unrelenting hunger and you’re willing to become who you need to be to achieve it.
- You listen carefully, ask good questions, and help people make informed decisions.
- You can hear “not right now” without becoming discouraged.
- You follow up consistently because you understand that trust is often built over time.
- You take ownership of your results. If you miss a target, you look at what happened, ask for feedback, and adjust.
- You want coaching. You don’t become defensive when someone challenges your approach because getting better matters more than protecting your ego.
- You keep your word, stay organized, and follow through on the details.
- You care about the client’s experience, not just closing the sale.If that sounds like you, keep reading.

About RocketPainter Kingston
We’re a locally owned and operated painting company serving Kingston, Ontario.
Our goal is to set the standard for premium painting in Kingston through exceptional craftsmanship, disciplined execution, and a professional client experience from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.
Our clients are homeowners and business owners who value quality, clear communication, and a company they can trust to do the job properly.
We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for A-Players who can represent RocketPainter well, guide clients through the decision-making process, and help us build the next stage of the company.
We don’t just hire based on experience. We hire people who fit.
Our V.I.P.S. Values
These values guide how we sell, serve clients, work as a team, and make decisions every day.
V — Value
We create real value for every person we interact with. That means understanding what the client actually needs, providing honest recommendations, and helping them make the right decision for their property.
I — Integrity
We do what we say we’re going to do. We communicate honestly, follow through on commitments, and never pressure someone into a decision that is not right for them.
P — Pride
We take pride in how we present ourselves, how thoroughly we assess each project, and how clearly we communicate our recommendations. Your standard is excellence, and your goal is constant improvement.
S — Serving Others
Sales is not about convincing someone to buy. It is about listening, solving problems, and making the process easier for the client. We treat every consultation as an opportunity to serve.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our Sales Representative, you’ll meet with homeowners and business owners, assess their painting needs, prepare professional estimates, and guide them from consultation through approval.
You’ll be one of the first people clients meet from RocketPainter, so how you communicate, follow up, and carry yourself matters.

This Role Is for You If...

- You are organized and can manage several client conversations at once
- You are comfortable discussing pricing and asking for the sale

- You are highly coachable and willing to change your approach when something is not working
- You can follow a proven sales process while still having natural, genuine conversations
- You care about details and understand that accurate documentation affects the entire team
- You want your performance measured and are motivated by clear targets
- You have a valid Class G licence and reliable access to your own vehicle
Experience in sales, home services, painting, construction, or renovations is an asset. However, strong character, coachability, and the ability to build trust matter more to us than having the perfect résumé.
What You’ll Get
- Performance-based compensation
- Annual earning potential of CA$80,000–CA$150,000
- A structured sales process with clear expectations
- Hands-on training, coaching, and direct feedback
- Performance targets that let you know exactly where you stand

- A respected local brand with a strong reputation for quality
- The opportunity to grow into greater responsibility as the company expands
- A professional team culture built around quality, accountability, and improvement
- Company events and store discounts
