We are currently seeking a Service Coordinator to become the central communication hub of our organization. This position may be offered as full-time, seasonal, or part-time, depending on the successful candidate.

About the Role
As the Service Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for clients, contractors, field staff, and business partners. You will play a critical role in supporting daily operations by managing communications, coordinating information flow, maintaining accurate records, and assisting the operations team in delivering exceptional service.
Success in this position requires outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact by answering, screening, and directing incoming calls and inquiries.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, contractors, municipalities, and internal team members.
- Support dispatch and coordination activities to ensure efficient communication between office and field personnel.
- Assist the Operations Manager, Locating Coordinators (Dispatchers), and leadership team with administrative and operational tasks.
- Perform data entry, auditing, and record management while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets, reports, tracking logs, and operational databases.
- Review, verify, and update information to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Coordinate documentation, filing systems, electronic records, and administrative processes.
- Track job status updates and ensure information is communicated accurately and efficiently.
- Support reporting, performance metrics, and operational analysis as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee, client, and company information.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative procedures and contribute to operational excellence.
- Perform additional administrative and office support duties as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in an administrative, office support, customer service, or dispatch environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Professional, dependable, and capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in utility locating, construction, transportation, dispatching, or field service operations is considered an asset.
